Sorry to hear the news Dave, hope that shoulder mends and soon.

How bad was the bike then? A little nudge into each other doesn't sound that bad really. I can't believe Spinfire is off again, carnage I presume continues amongst the mini twin brigade?

Ian did well though Wink

The nudge was big enough to rip the bodywork off and break the other guys wrist...so a pretty heavy contact. Usual stuff with the bike, nothing major.

Ian rode the best I've seen, even giving some front runnhers something to think about....great stuff!

Spinfire came off all by himself. As did Mike Parry....twice Shocked

So the bike is just scraped up then, perhaps a foot runner, even a handlebar?

Just glad its not too bad, and come to that, you either. The guy with the broken wrist should be ok reasonably soon as well, when I broke mine I was fine after five weeks in plaster, so if you speak to him, wish him a speedy recovery. Best thing I did with mine, was to keep crushing one of those stress balls, no muscle wastage or lack of strength when I got out of the plaster.

Ian reckons he would have been doing 1 16's if he had a fairing on the bike..........whatever, he got good points in the thunderbike championship.

He did 1.18 dead on his bike which is pretty impressive.

Foot pegs both sides, one bent bar, front fairing stay bent, as is steering damper, both side fairing brackets snapped and rod holding crash bungs snapped. I have loads of pegs, a mate will machine a new rod, brackets from JHS (its going in for a new loom anyway). Old bodywork tarted up and back on. Sorted. 83bhp now.

Any plans to race again?

More bodywork Dave? Sounds like you are keeping the industry going.

Impressive stuff from Ian, looks like he is well up to pace now. I hear that his brother is going out in the class next season, bought Red Wines old SV.

As for me, I shall be out and about at Rockingham very soon, first run of my 72 hp rocket machine since I got it back from the Jordans. Well thats subject to me getting it to run of course. Then, I shall have to join the club, renew ACU licence, and go back a race weekend somewhere. Will make a change to be on the track as opposed to taking happy snaps of others doing what I should be doing.

Hi Mate,

I have my first physio session this evening. Its loosening up OK but the bone isn't where it should be. The physio is dubious about racing again in 3 weeks. We'll see!

Hope all is well with yourself.

David

He will be slipping over even more then........no chance of that shoulder healing in that case. What he really should be doing, is taking life easy with his feet up at home and getting pampered and all his needs catered for Wink
