I went off to Steve Jordan motocycles today to collect a couple of bits and see how the race bike was actually progressing. Well I picked the right day and time, Chris Walker was in the shop for the launch of the 2007 GSXR750. On paper, an awesome bike, but, what the heck have they done with the exhausts. One each side? Looks terrible. Won't be long before the aftermarket experts make something for that.

Anyway, was good to see Chris, I managed to get him to sign both my Walker rep lids Cool

Picked up a couple of bits for Rula, the speedo drive was smashed, so thats been replaced and I now know how fast I am cruising past speed cameras again. Have spare brake pads for the front, perhaps next weekends job if I get any time.

As for the race bike, Steve is still waiting for the new exhaust system to turn up. Its the last bit of work required apparently. I have been told that my valves were in good order - obviously I didn't thrash it hard enough then, must try better next time.
