See they are excelling yet again. We had one of the numpty's from there come and measure up etc, at that point, I said know. I have heard a good few horror stories about B&Q kitchens.

Sorry to hear about the problems you are having Martin. Perhaps you should start mentioning trading standards to them, I would.

Martin, sounds like they're in breach of contract. ie you paid up in good faith, they've not delivered. If I were you, I'd write them a stern letter telling them exactly what it is that you want and saying it must be completed by Xth September (for example).

Give B&Q 10 working days to respond and if their response is not to your satisfaction, send them another letter advising you will be seeking legal advice and issuing a notice through the Small Claims Court (SCC) to get your money back (or part of your money for the parts they haven't delivered) and new kitchen parts for the damaged ones (where applicable). It only costs £10 to bring about a claim through the SCCand if you win (which you would) the other party has to pay your court costs.

As Chuff says, Trading Standards is another good route, but the SCC is the best road in my view. That will put the wind up them and they should get back to you sharpish. Send me a PM if you want me to write one of my stinkers for you.
