Time to do a rideout for some people. Had a few from Boxhill.co.uk and some from Londonbikers.com. All met at the oakdene cafe for a run out to somewhere that noone knew until we got there. Destination was Rye, but down some nice country roads. The hope was not to have too much traffic to contend with.
What should have been about 8 people turned into 22. I selected a rearguard and a turn man from the motley crew and off we set. Going through Maidstone with 22 in tow was not easy due to the traffic lights but we managed to keep everyone together and set off.
We all got to Rye and parked up. Off to a public house for a needed thirst quencher. Return route was not quite the same as going down, but, we didn't lose anyone again. A few more spirited moments on the return leg with some slow sections to group everyone back up.
Once back, I went out with a couple of riders to demonstrate control of a motorcycle with it cranked well over, as well as body movement, how to get of the seat, how to stick your leg out etc to balance the bike. Lots of fun and big grins.
Anyone who came on the run who is reading this, hope you enjoyed it and thanks for coming out. _________________ MUTANT NINJA HERO
