Dave and Wal will be alright with it. Confirmed as 10th in the championship and 2nd in the rookie one now. 4 more strong results at Brands will go a long way to improving things even more.
Cheers for the help repairing the slightly battered wreckas well. Those footpegs are way better than the last set, spare set on the way already. Meanwhile, I have been busy fibreglassing up some of the bodywork. he tail unit is now not so floppy! _________________ MUTANT NINJA HERO

Went to visit Talon sprockets, brakes and hubs on Saturday morning. Had a tour round the workshop. Came away with a new pair of discs. Well flash wavy jobs they import from Italy. 'Braking' is the make. 35% discount for racers.
My old discs are a bit thin....honest Reckon it should be demon braking time at Brands. Just hope the pads bed in OK on them 'cos I don't want anymore expense!
Also got a 47 sprocket. £12 plus VAT. Should be able to get some more if anyone interested.

A 47 and a 44 rear would be good.
I have the Galfer wavy disks on my SV, they seem to do the trick ok. Use the Original Steelies in the wet though, less fierce.
It may be worth sticking with the original disks at Brands Dave, they take a while to bed in usually. I don't believe you are doing the test day and just trying to bed them in in the 15 mins warm up is not likely to be long enough. _________________ MUTANT NINJA HERO

Guess who has booked in on the test day????
Reckon all day should be enough to bed the beauties in. Should be nicely matched up to the pads after a couple of sessions I reckon.
I'll probably stick my standard discs on the wets and match them up with the standard pads. Used to have the standard discs on the wets until I had to swap things around at Snetts. Used standard discs on the dry wheels at Cadwell and they just didn't seem to have the same bite. It could have been me, but looking forward to trying these new ones out. Of course it might not have helped that the standard discs are thinner than a wafer-thin thin thing after going on a diet! Well, they are probably the original discs that had done 16000 road miles before being raced.

I'll see if I can get you those sprockets. The lady who sold them me at Talon will be at Aberdare next weekend. Her husband is currently leading the super-mono championship and he's doing Aberdare. I intend going along to find out what the place is all about.

Sprockets - can't get same discount. They gave me a special deal 'cos my father-in-Law is best mates with one of the blokes that works there!
Might be a few quid more so do you still want them?

May as well have them Dave. You never know where I will be taking the bike next. Best to have an increased range I think. _________________ MUTANT NINJA HERO
