No. Depends on size as to whether you would get them in as hand luggage. _________________ MUTANT NINJA HERO

I have a set you are welcome to borrow. Probably too big for hand luggage when full.

As long as the 'ties' are secured around the panniers and not flapping loose I reckon they'll be fine. A lockable suitcase is not a guarantee of security in fact not a good idea. Jacqui had hers opened on a trip to the states last year. Security at the airport just bust the thing open.....but then they are entitled to do that. _________________ Feel the Fear....AND DO IT ANYWAY!

I have taken bike luggage on a plane with no bother in the past... Depending upon the airline you may need to check it in through "outsize luggage" as i think stuff with straps on like throw overs can upset the conveyors... _________________ The village bike |
