Best of luck to Chuffster for the coming weekend. Snetterton Race School is one of those Rites of Passage to a full race licence.
Looking at the forecast you shouldn't have the snow we suffered last year, and don't be a prat like I was Keep it shiny side up....no thinking you'll just push it a bit harder and then chucking it at the scenery.
I think you should get plenty out of the weekend, not least of all meeting some fellow Rookies.
You buddied up with anyone?

Cheers for the wishes David.
Looking forward to the weekend and praying that the weather is kind. Apparently at last weeks effort at Mallory only six bikes stayed upright all day long! I hear that an instructor was first to crash out as well, first lap at Edwinas.
As for buddied up, not yet. Chief Wobbler is supposed to be hauling her backside up with me. We can not go until early Sat morning due to a wedding on Friday (no, not ours). So its up at silly o'clock and off for scruitineering at 07:30. So I should be up at 04:00 for the trip.
Looking forward to passing and locking horns in a few weeks time. Changed sprockets on the bike last night so now running 15/45. Will see how that goes.
Not aiming to push it at all, my lovely new gleaming bodywork I wish to stay as it is. Have sent my entries off for the first two rounds already, as instructed by 'The Office'. _________________ MUTANT NINJA HERO

I'd send off your entries for the whole year to guarantee a place on the grid. You can wihdraw from any round up a to a fortnight before hand and they don't take the money off your card until a week before the round.
Gearing won't matter because you won't be pushing that hard....will you
Hope all goes well.

I was going to send off all the entries but have been informed from 'THE OFFICE' not to. Just send in the first two it says. So following instructions, thats what I have done. Sooner I can get my ACU licence number, the sooner I can get the rest in.
As for pushing, I am hoping to ride, not push........ Safety first, its not a race _________________ MUTANT NINJA HERO

the Office as ever are quite right because I forgot you don't have a licence yet
...once you do bung them all in! Clubmans included...cheap extra track time and we get to dust up the slow one litre boys this year. _________________ Feel the Fear....AND DO IT ANYWAY!

Clubmans? From what I have heard, you have to pay full entry fee to enter another category. So I kind of knocked the idea on the head. Have I read all that wrong? _________________ MUTANT NINJA HERO

You can enter a Clubman as an extra race on each day. The cost of the extra race is much less than for your main entry i.e. something like an extra £50 for both days race......so I think you must have mis-read, however there were some errors on he entry forms. They are referred to and correct on some pinned notices on Moto-forum. My strong recommendation is that you enter them. Unfortunately I think that this years timetable means we can only enter them at 4 or 5 of our weekends (they are not on the schedule for the rest) whereas last year they were at every round.
Last year there were separate clubmans for 400/650 and 600/1000...this year we are all in one race......gulp

I shall check with 'THE OFFICE' then. Would be good to get some extra experience in. Reckon I shall have to go and invest in some chains and anchors for there litre boys to slow them down. Perhaps we can take it in turns to do a number on them and go win the races

Great write up of the day at Snetterton glad I was able to assist with running repairs. Nice to see that Chief Wobblers apprenticeship as "paddock stand burd" is progressing well . Shame it was a tad too cold for a brolly and hot pants _________________ The village bike |
