If only I was 20 years younger and with the money I have now. I would be there.
I love it and cannot wait for the trackdays of 2006 |

You'r never to old to try it
I started racing when i was 40 and joined the Supermono and started racing at National level when i was 41 i have raced against peeps younger and older.
If you can aford it don't waste your money on track Days cos it is nothing like the real thing.
I had never even done a track day when i started or even ridden a race bike.
The buzz of that first race is still with me.
After only 3 practice laps.
They put me on the second row of the grid and buy the first corner i was last, after pulling 3 consecutive wheelies then after the third lap and a few overtaking moves i was T-boned and taken out cost me a fortune for that first weekend but worth every penny.
Got to shut up now nearly talked myself back in to another season.

Baloo,
Having reached the age of forty, started a family, and having a few permanent aches and pains from other activities....I took up racing!
My mate Wal was 47!!
Everything RedWine says is true. I'm doing a track day in january, but if I'm honest, it won't be a buzz, its just for a shake down on the bike after its winter refresh. Racing is a buzz at an entirely different level.
Get yourself a race licence MRO race school is in Feb at Snetterton. Plenty of minitwins for sale at decent money at the moment. Loads of help available from us folks.

C'mon Baloo, you know it makes sense! Same class. Lots of helpful people to show you the ropes.
I can not wait to get out there, fairing bashing commences mid march. Bring it on. _________________ MUTANT NINJA HERO
