Chuffster,
All this about road riding...new bike...new kit....
I was out all the time on the road right up until the point I started racing....and rather curiously I then wasn't interested. Never sat on the road bike until after the season was over, and then didn't enjoy as much. In fact seriously considering trading the Blade in for something 'a bit more comfortable'.
Just a thought before you go out spending money. I know Jon and Wal both had similar feelings.

I hear you David and was sort of thinking that a while back but got persuaded not to give it up. I have met so many people thanks to my bike riding it would be a shame to give it all up. I am trying to be sensible this time and am looking for something suitable for 2 up, that I can ride sedately (well thats an idea) but something I can also scratch on and teach those litre boys how to ride. Its for play time only, I am not going to commute by bike into London anymore.
On the current shortlist are Kawasaki Z1000, Buell Lightning, Triumph Speed Tripple and Aprilia Tuono. No doubt my mind shall be swayed when I go to the show on Sunday towards something completely different. _________________ MUTANT NINJA HERO

The BMW sounds like an option, something I had thought about having had one before. As for the harley idea, may God carry out suitable retribution on you for suggesting such a heathern idea.
Not only that, dont think Chief Wobbler would be too amused on the back of a Harly but she did quite like the Buell. I do have full AA cover so the Buell is deffo an option.
Thought you said ZRX - have looked and contemplated but it looks a bit big for such a lightweight as me. _________________ MUTANT NINJA HERO

Chief Wobbler will happily wobble from behind on her firestorm!
That Buell was comfy but then you can't beat a [green] kwaka. I'd be able to ride a buell as my feet touch the floor, but the Tuono is a no no (too high). _________________ Dartford Damsel in Distress |

Excellent - Tuono rockets to the top of the list then. _________________ MUTANT NINJA HERO

Is that a threat?
Race for V5's?
Best get myself a 50cc ped so you stand a chance - after all - a van is quicker than a firestorm when its being driven by me. _________________ MUTANT NINJA HERO
