Nice and realxing, two firework parties, a few beers, watched the MotoGP, but couldn't shift the bolts holding the rear shock in place...ggrrrrr. Lashings of WD40 applied....will have another go tomorrow night. Impact wrench might be called for....and a BIG hammer.

Weekend was wonderful. Very Happy

The surprise location was Buxton in the peak district. Got to the hotel and a huge bunch of flowers were in the room along with champagne. Awww! On saturday we went to Bakewell, Matlock Bath and ended up in Buxton; had huge piece of cake in the afternoon whilst Chuff scoffed afternoon tea, complete with Cornish clotted cream and a ginormous scone.

Smart car roadster was great fun and the engine sounds good!

Have you tried tightening and then undoing?

How about a bit of heat if you can get at them?

Always found plus gas is better than WD40 as well.

I'll try the tightening first routine, then maybe some heat. I have a little kitchen blow torch for the old creme brulee, should be just the job for avoiding melting the electrics that are very close to the top bolt!
