Steve martin has no ride for the remainder of the WSBK season after the DFX Corse Honda team pulled the plug on him. They have cited a lack of finance to keep the team running for the season. There is apparently only enough money to run one rider for the whole campaign and the DFX team have picked Fabrizio as their entrant. Apparently DFX had assured Martin before the season that the budget was there to run them both for the full season. According to Martin, he only stayed because of the assurances, he had other rides available at the time.

The reason the team have cited for continuing with Michel Fabrizio is tat he is a Honda Europe rider and has enough personal backing for the rest of the year. So once again, its money that talks?
