Well the racing season proper starts this weekend. MOTO GP are off and running for the first round of their championship, plus supporting categories as well. Appears that the Yamahas are going well already, with Edwards and Rossi in number one and two positions after the 3rd go at free practice. Tyre rules have changed for this season, so this could lead to a few dramas throughout the season. Casey Stoner appears to be going really well on the Ducatti, currently third, followed by an unfit Hopkins on the Suzuki. It appears that the new 800CC Suzuki may be a force to be reckoned with throughout the season ahead. As for the Honda's, they appear to be struggling. Only time will tell.

Bradley smith was running twelth in the 125 category yesterday, keep an eye open for his season ahead.

Apart from this, the BEMSEE roadshow kicks off this weekend at Brands Hatch on the Indy circuit. I visited last night and helped set up camp for two compatriots from last year. More disaster seems to have befallen poor old Wal though, apparently his new mobile gym palace wouldn't start so he hadn't made it for last night. Apparently his bike has been rebuilt. Cant wait to see the stroker 400 out there. Had a quick meander around and bumped into a few familiar faces. Checked out the garage where the Jordan's are based. Poor old Sarah blew her engine on Thursday and hubby Steve was busy installing a spare engine to her bike. The feisty girls had taken camp, also in a garage. The bikes were being polished, ready for practice action today.

The season kicks off with practice and warm up commencing 09:00 tomorrow (Saturday).

As for me, still riding the Blandit, the weather has been pretty good for the last few days. There is even less left of the pegs now, nothing like reducing weight....... Yesterdays pegging nearly resulted in disaster though, got the bike way to far over and went round a roundabout with the back end stepping out all the way. Got to admit, got great feedback from the Bridgestone 020 and it never turned into a drama. Roll on getting out on track, really itching to scream again.
