Well, we went to the Bemsee Dinner and Dance awards ceremony. I collected my trophy for second rookie. The food wasn't actually too bad this time, apparently much better than last year. Having scoffed that down and queued at the bar countless times for diabloical service, we went into about 4 hours of prize giving.
The Feisty girls were early up, probably a good thing as they were pretty trollied already. Big congrats to all the trophy winners, especially Phil Seton and Steve Mercer who did fantastically well.
It was good to bump into people away from the racing circuit, so more relaxed than usual. When we left, all seemed in order. I have seen pictures from the shananigans afterwards, reckon Moosey looked better in a dinner suit than Greville Ball!
Hopefully everyone who was there soon got over there sore heads!
