Did anyone read the article? Budget racer straight from the showroom etc etc etc.

MCN's super fast guy, must be as he won a race, really rates the SV650 as a track day or racing machine.

More sensationalist journalism?

I won't knock the SV, after all I race one and so do many others. I would knock the way its been reported though. I have the full info now. Their journo competed in a few races over a weekend with the Auto 66 club. On the same circuit that we run, he posted a best time of 1.48.499. Now I know, that most of us are way under that. It also doesn't tell you that there were only three entrants in the SV650 race, one of those didn't finish and the other one is someone that raced in Bemsee a few times. I am not dissing this person, but, they were last in the club round! As for thunderbikes which this guy also entered, 3rd and 5th he came. That was out of an entry of six. Mmmmmm, doesn't tell you all this in the report.

And no, this is not a bitter and twisted snipe because the guy won a race, fair play to him, its just the way that it was reported.
