What a great day at WSB. Managed to take the back roads in and out and avoided all the traffic. Sneakily we parked our bikes in the marshalls compounf, massive result. Brands was heaving by 08:30. We set up base camp at Clarke curve to watch the action. It was a good spot, right where we could see the big screen on south bank.
Kevin Carmichael was putting on some stunts every now and again to keep the crowds occupied. Some resonable stopies and wheelies. Power slide burnout on the Buell was ace. How he manages to wheelie that 6 cylinder triumph I will never know.
The two WSB races were very good, some close and exciting action. Was great to see Nitro Norri doing his thing, he deserved the win in the second race. Toseland managed a podium in race one but couldn't manage it come race two.
We hung around for the last race, the supersport 600 class. Had to cheer on Matt Bond, he didn't dissapoint, came home 7th.
Roll on BSB there at the end of the year when its going to be double points. _________________ MUTANT NINJA HERO
