Well I rode the Firestorm today, back from its service and it now sports braided hoses. 2 up into town was much better knowing that you had a brake that actually worked, the difference has been amazing. Instead of using full force and the lever coming into the handlebar its a 2 finger pull up now, so much more confidence inspiring. Not wanting to go to manic 2 up, I rode nice and easy until I got home when I pushed it through some roundabouts to see how it handled. 2 up and it went well. Didn't have it all the way over but it was not far off. Perhaps knowing that it now goes well and stops as well, I shall have a few more runs on it to get a better feel for the storm. Perhaps its not such a bad bike after all.
