Richard this is what i posted on the Buell site after reading
That the owner reckoned that the Buell was jsut about to overtake you before it packed up.

Had a good saturday at Brands. My mate who is doing his rooky season on a minitwin decided to have a go in the Thunderbikes He started from the back of the Grid as he had not done any rounds in the thunder bike and manged to get up in to 16th in the first race. He was comfortably in front of the only Buell in the second race untill it fell apart again.It has done his confidence the power of good especially as his bike was under powered compared to all the thunder bikes.

Love it Martin. If you actually check the lap times for each lap I think he was in a different race as my laps were faster each lap in the second race of Saturday bar one. He was only just quicker in the second race on Sunday and got past me when he tried to kill me at paddock. Fair dues to him though, he was quicker on Sunday than me but then this is my first year racing and I don't quite have the kit he does. He was distinctly slower than Gary and Steve, both on standard SV's.

Saturday laps :-

me 58.116, 56.317, 55.386, 55.877.

Buell 58.224, 56.310, 55.786, 56.014.

No point going any further, the Buell's rubber band gave up at that point.....

Well not many people from the Buell site.
Wonder if he realises how much of a bad name he is giving Buell
