Having qualified for 14th place on the grid for the first race Chuffster was taken off on Revvit Straight on the first lap by a rider who went wide on Sears and came back on across the straight; resulting damage to the bike as follows:
* Broken pegs and hangers both sides
* Damage to gear change
* Damage to seat unit
* Fairing damage
* Slight damage to brake master cylinder
* Levers and clip ons out of position
Bike was rebuilt by a joint effort between yours truly, Chuffster and Martin (red wine racing)
Due to the DNF of the first race, the second race was started from the rear of the grid. A hole shot start gained 4 places before tipping into Riches, 7 places gained in the first of the 8 laps. Overall finishing position was 17th, from a starting grid of 37.

I had a great day to day watching the racing. Needless to say, the boy done good (I will let Chuff tell the tale)
Thanks for Duncan et al for making it fun and a special thanks to Justine for all the teas in the face of potential flu!
Richard, if you pm me your eMail I will forward some of the shots. You will need a broadband connection as the file size is quite big. |

Sadly even reducing the size to 800 x 530 and quality down to 50%, the JPEGs are still 1.2mb.
I will try as "GIF"s later on this evening. |
