What's the format of the weekend? Had a few people ask me, as they are interested in possibly coming along. _________________ The village bike |

Not exactly sure of format yet but I shall be there Thursdau night ready to test on Friday. Practice should commence from 9am on the Saturday, not sure when exactly i shall be out. Looking at the format from the weekend just gone, racing appears to start late morning on the Saturday. I should be getting 2 races in on the Saturday. Warm up early on Sunday, probably just 3 laps like this week and then 2 more races on the Sunday before packing and going home.
It would be good to see some people up there, Chief Wobblers parents are coming down to see us as well. I will also be looking after a friend who is in the rookie 400's. He won all four rounds at Brands last week. His dad is spannering for my mate in Superstox that weekend so can not come and has asked me to look after his boy. I am sure that he would appreciate some support as well.
I believe that David H will be in the same races as me, and a few of the runners from last year. All support by all would be gratefully received and we hope to put on a reasonable display! If you can give me some idea of how many it would be useful as Chief Wobbler and hopefully her parents will be in the kitchen area of the caravan. _________________ MUTANT NINJA HERO

Not sure we'll be in the same race although I hope so. Wal was saying there are enough Rookies for a full grid so I'll end up racing MRO....gulp
We'll see.....I was looking forward to locking horns.
In terms of the format...yes...2 races a day generally well spread out.
In total there is likely to be about 24 races in a day.
The race programme should be with us in a day or two with our race entry cards, that'll tell you when we are racing.
If you are away at Lydden I'll post it up on here for you.

Cheers David. I need to find out if the suppliers are there on Saturday as apparently I need to have my number on the bike. I have been allocated 50 and it has 51 at the mo. Worst case scenario, I use black insulation tape and make a 0 out of that. Lets hope we are in the same races, bring on the fairing bashing. Not sure about a full grid of rookies, there were about 12 of us at Snetterton. There must have been over 20 at Mallory in that case if it is a full grid - don't see it myself. Will await news from HQ. At least if you are in a different race I may get to watch and learn. Presumably we will be out in practice together which will be good. I can show you the way round _________________ MUTANT NINJA HERO

The suppliers are usually there but in any case I'm sure your insulation tape job will do. Alternatively you'll probably find that you can get the numbers at most bike shops that have anything to do with racing. I got mine from the Off Road bike shop just down the road from me. You could even use a marker pen!
I doubt they will be too strict on exact dimensions for a practice!
Yep, I'll follow you around ....right up to the point i stuff it up you on the last corner! _________________ Feel the Fear....AND DO IT ANYWAY!

I have no bike shops anywhere near me here so I have no chance of getting number before Saturday. If the bits comps are not there its a masking tape job and they can lump it. A marker pen is not going near my paint work..........
As for stuffing me on the last corner, see you realise already that you will be behind...........you still have to catch and pass............ _________________ MUTANT NINJA HERO
