| Very happy to report that I now have a fully serviceable RG500 and SV650 plus a spare RG500 and a half.

| Not too bad for me. Trying out a carby SV while I fix the RG but it went OK really. Saw Dave crash and missed out on copious beers whilst fixing his bike but was pleased with the result.

It appears the failure was in the big end, bits of which caused the piston to seize and the con rod to break, striking the rotary valve and taking out some intern ... |
